WHAT IS AHA? 

Alpha hydroxy acids are acids derived from fruit or milk, this particular acid was derived from Sugar Cane. They’ve been used for thousands of years as beneficial ingredients in skin care. In fact, Cleopatra is reported to have bathed in sour milk (full of lactic acid) to improve her skin.

HOW DOES AHA WORK? 

Alpha hydroxy acids work mainly as an exfoliant, sloughing off dead skin cells. The result is skin that appears fresher looking and revitalized, since it exposes the new skin underneath.
