To be clear - Alpacas are not harmed or killed specifically to obtain their fiber! It is a natural process to sheer them each year (or they will die of heat stroke in our hot climate), so the fiber that is shorn off is turned into these beautiful, hypoallergenic pieces of fluff.
MATERIALS
80% alpaca, 20% acrylic.
CARE
Sometimes slight shedding can occur with natural fibers. YES you can wash these scarves to minimize this!
Gentle machine in laundry bag or hand wash and rinse cold, using light detergent. Line/air dry. Drying in dryer for 5-10 minutes will add to fluff. If ironing desired, iron on low.
